Stream Relay still required for PowerVU w/ oscam?
Sorry if this has been answered, but I have not been able to find a clear answer. I have found some posts saying that Stream Relay is no longer required for PowerVU channel with oscam? Is that the case, and if so, how do I configure oscam to no longer require Stream Relay?

Hello there,
I am using Openpli on my Dreambox and intend to connect SPDIF interface to my 5.1 audio system, i have noticed that even it is connected Dreambox output Audio through DVI interface.
could someone guide/explain the best practice for this connection? any related setting?
i know only AC3 Downmix which must be OFF to get all 5.1 channels.

5 West Multistream
There is a transponder on 5 West that I cannot get now but I was getting a few days ago.
Can someone please check :

Its a Multistream transponder so I think you will need a 4k box to find it.
There is a strong signal but zero quality, if you see what I mean.
Do I have a problem or is there a problem with the transponder ?

Setting up ZeroTier in OpenPli
What is ZeroTier and why would I need this?
In case you are helping friends and family with internet connected devices remotely, ZeroTier makes it
very simple to connect to the device that needs support. ZeroTier creates a virtual network via the
internet and via the Zerotier assigned IP address it can be accessed. This device becomes part of you
own created private encrypted network.
This again a different approach that known solutions like VNC, RDP, Team-viewer or any other support
package.
Via Zerotier your toolset of WinSCP, MremoteNG, FTP, Telnet, SSH, Browser or any other package can be
used to access this other hardware.

By creating a Zerotier network online (zerotier.com) and adding internet enabled computer like devices
to this network, your network is starting to grow. It is up to the user to decide if this service auto starts
while booting. My advice is to do so.
In a simple setup you start your client on the computer you are working on and this will enable you to
connect via the ZeroTier network the other side. (Via your web control panel in zerotier.com, you can
find the IP-address of the connected hardware). The black Vu Solo has a local IP assigned (192.168.0.5)
but that is not relevant because this box can be anywhere in the world and therefore not integrated or
connected in your local Network. Via Zerotier, this box can in this example accessed via 192.168.1.1
(randomly assigned by the zerotier dhcp server)
So, the black Vu Solo can be anywhere on earth but when connected to the zerotier network, it is
accessible. No router port issues, no dyndns setup, no reversed VPN tunnel. Easy as it is and for free
under the current conditions (see the website for details)
Setting up in Openpli
Check via the zerotier admin page if it is successful. You should be able to ping the machine and you
should also able to ping from that machine
As last part of this installation in Openpli, I created a startup script that triggers a tunnel and after that
start the services.
It is well possible that you run into issues. Internet is your friend for getting the answers.
/etc/init.d/zerotier.sh (cmhod 755)

# Set tunnel for zerotier via OpenVPN installation
modprobe tun
# Start Zerotier
/usr/sbin/zerotier-one d

Best 1.2m motorised satellite setup.
Hey guys I'm doing a bit of research into motorised satellite dish setups. I see that the Gibertini 1.25m dish is highly recommended but I was told it wouldn't be good to motorised it as its heavy. I see that the Technomate TM-2600 motor says it can handle dishes upto 1.4m tho. I don't want to go buying something and it not work. Its a bit of a mindfield out there I feel. If anyone can give me a bit of advice thank would be much appreciated. Thank you.
